Sabzi Polo made with (Ghormeh Sabzi) & Kale Tahdig
Persian Herb Rice (Sabzi Polo) is the most traditional dish served for Persian New Year (Nowruz) . Served with fish, this recipe is one of those simple recipes is very addictive. Be prepared to be asked to make this on repeat!  There are two ways to make this recipe. The traditional way- with fresh herbs, or the shortcut way- by adding the amazing flavour of Exotic Bazaar Ghormeh Sabzi recipe base. In this blog post we will explore both options.
Persian Herb And Noodle Soup - Aash Reshteh
Aash Reshteh is a classic Persian noodle soup with herbs and beans. This recipe is most popular during the month of Ramadan and the Persian New Year. This nourishing soup is made with a combination of herbs, beans, and noodles, decorated with fried shallots, mint oil, whey sauce (here we use sour cream), and -for a fancier version- saffron. The decoration is as important as the soup itself. There are quite a number of steps if you were to make this soup from scratch. Here, we use our Ghormeh Sabzi herb base as a shortcut. Ash-Reshteh was invented to use the leftovers of Ghormeh Sabzi, so using this shortcut method will not make if un-authentic, don't worry :)
