Za’atar is an aromatic mix of Middle Eastern thyme, roasted sesame seed, and ground sour berries of the sumac tree. It is a key spice for traditional hummus, labneh, and baba ganoush.

Perfect on pizza, bread, salads, eggs, dips, sauces, and marinades.

You can also bake the famous Lebanese pizza- a combination of zaatar and olive oil spread on flat dough and baked in the oven. You can eat it as is or top it with your preferred pizza topings.
